What is http://www.little-mickle.com/ ?

The title of this website comes from the proverbial phrase “Many a little makes a mickle”. I chose it because this blog is dedicated to personal and spiritual growth and the above phrase nicely describes one of the best ways to better ourselves – by having a great goal and going about achieving it step by step. The idea that we can reach any heights by consistently doing small things that brings us closer and closer to a desired outcome is definitely not a new one. Another ancient proverb, this time of Chines origin, says “Even a thousand-mile journey begins with the first step...”. To that I'd like to add “...and the journey unfolds one step at a time.” (While researching the origin of the saying I actually found another variation: “To get through the hardest journey we need take only one step at a time, but we must keep on stepping“).

You can learn more about how the idea was born from my very first blog post. As you can see the initial motivation was financial freedom but I quickly realized that “money” alone won't keep me motivated long enough to get this place off the launching pad. From my very modest initial goal it's obvious that I am not a financial guru or entrepreneur and I barely have any internet marketing skills. Obviously I couldn't provide much value writing on these topics.

However, for the past several years I've been fascinated with the potential of our minds and how we can significantly improve and transform our lives by tapping into this potential. Over the years I believe I achieved some level of insight into this matter and sharing it with others is a really joyful experience. So this will be the main subject of this website.

I have plans to develop little-mickle further and offer unique vlaue to it's readers but I am not ready to disclose any details about the future … I will as my ideas start to take form.
